The challenge
To create a generic and PE branded Icewine jelly label for Peller Estates Winery.
My role
As the graphic designer, I researched for inspiration and sketched label designs and ingredient artwork. I collaborated with Natalie Gilson, who created the scratchboard art.

I sketched label design concepts and artwork for the Icewine jellies.

After sketching, I moved into digital concepts, where I experimented with layout and hierarchy.

I created a design that could accommodate other flavours, recipes, and ingredients without changing the layout to create consistency in the series.

Designs for a possible jar label and tab seal were considered.

The solution
The solution was to create two label design layouts. One for the generic product that could be sold at select stores and the other to be sold with the PE logo. Both designs needed to fit varying product information while adhering to the layout design. For the PE label, I chose a small batch style, typographic layout design. For the generic label, I chose a similar style with the addition of ingredient artwork.
